JSTI｜EPTISA upgrades cadastre and GIS for SEDACHIMBOTE, Chimbote
09-Aug-2019Eptisa, in consortium with Conhydra, has been awarded the project "Update of Technical Cadastre, Commercial Cadastre and Geographical Information System" for the water and sanitation operator of the city of Chimbote in Peru, for € 1.5 million.
This project, financed by the German bank Kfw and belonging to the "Water Loss Reduction Program in the Provincial Cities, Peru", will provide important modernization in the operation of the entity. Users will be able to work, through a novel GIS interface, with updated data from their networks and customers; optimizing the tasks of asset management in the network, operation and maintenance, billing and collections.
The contract was signed on December 18, 2018 and it is estimated that the works begin in January 2019.
With this new project, the presence of Eptisa in the Peruvian and Latin American market is significantly reinforced, adding an important reference in the water and IT sector.
